Hi guys,
I have another New Year's mani today, I tried a million different options for fireworks stamps and none of them looked good enough so I decided to keep it simple cause I was getting frustrated and couldn't make it work. I pulled this beauty from my stash called Lady of the Lake by AEngland cause of the awesome holo sparkle it gives out, and added a simple gold starry stamp from the Moyou London Festive 06 plate and with China Glaze Passion that I mixed with some Kleancolor Metallic Red to give it a little extra color like fireworks have. It's not the best design but I think it can work out if you don't have time to do a full on, out of this world mani. What do you think? Hello! The other day I decided I wanted to swatch my entire collection by brand and someone on twitter suggested that I should start alphabetically by brand. The first brand on my stash is A England which I seriously love, they have the most amazing scattered holo nail polishes too bad I only have a couple cause they're expensive :( For today's mani I have Tristam which is a gorgeous dark blue scattered holo, I only needed 2 easy coats for full opacity. I sort of felt like doing a holo inception and stamped holo over holo so I used Color Club's Harp and stam[ped some stars on it but it was too much I think and the stars bare showed. It all just looked like a holographic explosion! Not that I'm complaining. I love how sparkly it looks even thou the design is not really noticeable, I should try this more often. Have you ever done a holo inception like this?
Thanks for reading <3 Hello Ladies, Can you believe it's December already? This whole year went by so fast and I'm really excited to finish it with a nail challenge. Recently I was given a Lovely Blog Award by the lovely lady behind the polish aholic blog and I found out they were doing the Advent Calendar Nail Challenge, I of course had to join in. It's 24 days filled with awesome holiday nail art, I have a picture of the whole break down below: Now on to the first day nails. For this mani I used 2 coats of A England Merlin, the most awesome silver glitter and Zoya Sookie with Bundle Monster's BM -205 plate. In my ring finger I have 2 coats of China Glaze Love Marilyn. I really love how this turned out. Now go check out what the girls came up with. Mommy Loves Nail Polish Nailpolishgalore Polish Alcoholic Polished Off Nail Boarders Unite! Thanks for reading <3 Hi guys! It's Monday again, I had a 4 day weekend so I'm pretty relaxed right now and ready to keep blogging. A few days ago I tried another A-England polish and I love love loved it. The pics below are only 2 coats and no top coat. I added some extra sparkle with a coat of Hits Lambada because who doesn't love flakies, right? I love how flakies look in the shade cause you can actually tell the shapes and colors better.
Have and awesome week and thanks for reading <3 Hi ladies! Another pink many for Wednesday and since it is February is valentine's inspired. As a base color I used My new A-England Morgan Le Fay and for the stamp I used China Glaze Velvet Bow, Winter Berry and Poinsettia With plate Ra-114. Now a couple of swatches of Morgan Le Fay by itself. I used a white base coat since the polish is really sheer. Once applied it looked a lot like Orly Au Champagne, it has the same pink/light blue micro shimmer in it. I really like this manicure, I don't wanna take it off until Valentine's day :)
Thank you for reading <3 |
